2002 Merlot

The 2002 Perrini Estate Merlot has been sourced from the Fleurieu region and Perrini Estate vineyards.

The wine has a robust, vibrant red colour and displays lovely succulent characters of plum, black cherry and spice. An inviting bouquet of rich fruits, black cherry and spice intermingle with chocolate tones on the mid palate. It has a tight concentration of fruit and firm tannins.

The 2002 Merlot offers wonderful length on the palate and a smooth finish. This wine will develop further with careful cellaring. 3-5 years.

Tony's Blend

This is a blend of fruit sourced from Mclaren Vale and Perrini vineyards.

It is a blend of Malbec, Petit Verdot and Shirz and has been matured in oak for fifteen months.

This wine has powerful, rich aromas of red berries, currants and spice. Round, smooth and medium bodied, it has an abundance of ripe, sweet fruit.

2002 Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2002 vintage produced Cabernet Sauvignon of a very high quality. Sourced from Perrini Estate vineyards and th McLaren Vale region, this wine is no exception.

On the nose it displays lovely lifted aromas of blackcurrants, cedar and gentle cabernet leafiness to add elegance and complexity. On the palate it is smooth and has a fine balance of rich red berry fruit flavours and oak.

It's firm structure and balance an the strength of this vintage, will ensure this wine will cellar for the medium to long term. 5-8 years.

2000 Shiraz

The 2000 Perrini Estate Shiraz was made from fruit sourced from McLaren Vale, famous for its full bodied, big Shiraz fruit due to its warm climate.

A lifted, spicy nose shows gentle oak and rich, berry fruit with hints of spice and pepper. On the palate it has generous mouth filling ripe fruit flavours, balanced by American oak.

This is a complex, well balanced Shiraz and is a perfect example of a true Australian, full bodied red wine. Will improve with further cellaring.

This wine has been sourced from various regions. The palate is rich round and full. Ripe dark berry fruit with soft chocolate flavours are integrated into the aged oak with hints of rancio.
